I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! is well underway for another series now.
The show seems to be more popular than ever, with more than ten million viewers for its first show.
Over the coming weeks we will see our latest batch of celebrities tested in a number of challenges.
We will, however, also gradually whittle down our stars – with regular evictions.
There’s only one way to guarantee you won’t be up for eviction as a celebrity: the Immunity Games.
But what are the Immunity Games? And can Harry Redknapp sign Niko Krancjar on a loan deal to come and complete the games?
The Immunity Games
The first Immunity Game will be the Deadly Dash, which sees the 11 celebrities split into three teams.
Our celebrities have to contend with the challenge, which will contain critters and be done as a relay race.
The team that wins the competition will be immune for the first round of evictions. This will be the format for Immunity Games throughout the series.
Who will captain our Deadly Dash teams?
A people’s vote – haven’t we had enough of those already? – has confirmed that Harry Redknapp, Nick Knowles and John Barrowman will act as team leaders for the trial.
As team leader, if you win, you get first pick from the other stars to join your team.
The show this year
Of course this year’s I’m A Celeb launched on Sunday, 18 November on ITV – and it will air nightly at 9pm.
This year the presenters are Holly Willoughby and Declan Donnelly, the former replacing troubled Ant McPartlin who’s taking the year off after addiction woes and the breakdown of his marriage with make-up artist Lisa Armstrong.
Holly and Dec announced the first Immunity Challenge during the show on Wednesday, 28 November.
Ant hopes to make a return to the show Down Under next winter.
ITV2 also shows the Extra Camp, which retains as host Scarlett Moffatt, Joel Dommett and Joe Swash.
