The Prime Minister has announced that he will table “emergency legislation” to block future legal challenges against his Rwanda plan after the policy was scuppered by the Supreme Court.
The Supreme Court ruled the policy is unlawful on Wednesday, in a major blow to Rishi Sunak’s plan to “stop the boats”.
The court said “deficiencies” in the Rwandan asylum system made it unsafe for the UK to relocate migrants to the African country.
