Nigel Farage eats penis on I’m a Celebrity as camp mate accuses him of ‘demonising migrants’

Mr Farage was subjected to the show's first Bushtucker Trial, in which he was forced to consume pizza topped with the anus and penis of camels, goats and crocodiles

Nigel Farage has been challenged by his I’m a Celebrity camp mates on the economic consequences of Brexit on the UK economy.

Fred Sirieix, the French-born First Dates star, accused Mr Farage of fomenting hatred of migrants on Monday night’s show.

“I thought it was shameful what you did, Nigel. It was about demonising migrants,” he told Mr Farage – citing an infamous “Breaking Point” poster that Mr Farage unveiled ahead of the Brexit referendum, purporting to show a crowd of refugees trying to reach Europe. At the time, Mr Farage was accused of inciting racial hatred with the poster, which critics likened to “Nazi propaganda”.

The former Ukip leader insisted he did not campaign for “no more Europeans coming in” and claimed Brexit has helped the UK to “stand on our own two feet”.

But Sirieix continued: “Brexit has been a big problem because of the red tape, everything has gone up, you have cost the country a lot of money and you are responsible for that.

“The average person in the UK has lost out because of what you’ve done, we have all lost out.”

Other cast-mates also quizzed Mr Farage on his impressions of Boris Johnson, who he described as “surprisingly introverted” and “one of the most disorganised human beings who have ever lived”.

Meanwhile, ITV opted to broadcast footage of a nude Mr Farage having a shower.

This Morning‘s Josie Gibson, who walked in on Mr Farage baring all, said: “I wasn’t expecting to see Nigel Farage’s bottom so soon, but I’ve seen worse. Fair play to him, he’s not shy and at least he’s clean.”

Host Ant McPartlin joked that the image was “burned into my brain”, adding: “It’s not every day you see a politician in the shower”.

Mr Farage was later subjected to the show’s first Bushtucker Trial, in which he was forced to consume pizza topped with the anus and penis of camels, goats and crocodiles.

“I don’t know whether I’ve got the bum end of the deal here or not,” he said.

Mr Farage, now a host on GB News, earned a reported £1.5m fee for his controversial appearance on the ITV programme – which comes a year after former health secretary Matt Hancock was accused of using the show to repair his shattered public image.
